Life is a Stone Ashore

Life is a stone ashore,
Though waves flow ashore,
Washing, hitting the stone,
It’s hard, safe and sound,
Life is tougher than we can imagine,
From childhood to teenage time,
How often you thought life ended!
Yet, you are there, safe and sound,
Life is not that easy to end,
Like a stone, winds blow, waves wash,
It’s there, safe and sound.
